“DON’T TEACH THE CHILD, MAKE THE CHILD LEARN”
Education is an on-going endeavor towards further developing the potential of individuals in a Holistic and integrated manner. To develop individuals intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically balanced with the firm faith in God, Global Culture fused with Indian culture and ethos. To produce knowledgeable, competent world citizens with high moral standards and capable of achieving high level of personnel well being as well as being able to contribute to the harmony and betterment of the family, the society and the nation at large.
To encourage all round development of the individual intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. To provide opportunities for the individual to develop his/her own unique strength and abilities. To produce a thinking workforce that is also technically literate and one that contributes towards leading India to the heights of super power by the year 2020. To produce need-based education so that every child’s intellectual development needs are met through appropriate curriculum and learning strategy. To increase the participation of all stakeholders such as parents and the community in the educational process.
“Education is simply the soul of the society as it passes from one generation to another.
– G.K. Cheston
I prescribed that the best way to advance society is by fostering education and we teachers, support staff, students and parents at Shiksha The Gurukul are one community sharing one vision of “Empowering students to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills as life-long learners, and imbibe a progressive outlook of leadership; to develop individual’s intellectual, emotional, physical balance with high morals and to nurture in them a sense of reverence for the Fundamental Duties and Constitutional Values”. With this vision of duty, aspiration and faith, it is a proud moment for me and my team to see students learning and developing their own unique skill. One of the most prime components of a good school is the partnership between the school and the parents, who work together for the best interest of the children. A close partnership between the school and the parent is one of the exceptional strengths of any school. Our focus is to achieve unparallel excellence that will bring development to our society by optimizing their potential to the fullest. By creating their own way in life will enable them to lead full and therefore prosperous lives.

SHIKSHA-THE GURUKUL is a socio-cultural unit of Sarva Shiksha Educational Foundation. The vision of the school is to constitute a conducive environment for learners and create a supportive domain to assimilate intellectual values, aesthetics and academic excellence. The learners, educators and society play equally important roles in flourishing the objectives and goal of an educational institution. Proper Education enables one to think rationally, decisively and independently. I believe our appeal as a school rests in our true sense of community. In a secure environment, students feel free to challenge themselves and take risk that will help them in realizing their true potential. We at Shiksha The Gurukul aim to build a community where the students, staff and the parents feel extremely warm and unpretentious. We aim to produce confident, eloquent, versatile young people, who are ready and well equipped to face the future. Our Teachers are open to adopting new techniques and ideas of teaching, combining both traditional and modern methods for preparing our students for unseen future. We emphasizes on both scholastic and co-scholastic areas equally to develop the ability to explore one’s own potential and it focuses on inculcation of scientific temperament in learners by the method of ‘learning by doing.’ The institution strives towards grooming the intellectual and critical thinkers and to facilitate emotional and moral values to carry out self-esteemed, self-reliant and self-confident individuals who can serve the Nation and the global society. We offer a range of both indoor and outdoor activities, international exposure and much more to address to the intellectual, social and intellectual needs of a student. We aspire to help each and every student embrace a exuberant and hearty life.

Education plays an important role in enabling a person to face a real life situation with adequate knowledge and skill. The aim of our school is to help our students to grow into fine human beings who are capable of facing the challenges of the present and future world. School is a temple that carves a Human out of just a Just a being and we at Shiksha-The Gurukul are making our very best to give quality education to our students. As educators, we need to focus on all-round development of each child, including focusing on the fact that each child has his own individual and special skills set. We should facilitate and encourage students to develop in their special field of interest and help them achieve success.
